this、that、these、those 是"用手一指"就要说的词。
分远近
近处（手边）：this 这个 / these 这些
远处（那边）：that 那个 / those 那些
分单复数
一个：this / that
好几个：these / those

近 this 远 that，一个就用它；
近 these 远 those，一堆用它俩。
课本里的常用句型
What's this? — It's a pencil.（这是什么？——是支铅笔。）
What's that? — It's a bird.（那是什么？）
Is this your pen? — Yes, it is. / No, it isn't.
This is my dad.（介绍家人：这是我爸爸。）
These are my books.（这些是我的书。）
Those are birds.（那些是鸟。）
小提醒
this / that 后面用 is，these / those 后面用 are。
回答的时候用 it（一个）或 they（一堆），不用再重复 this / that。
